Public Schools Matter

This week I am sharing a link to the first of T. Jameson Brewer’s three articles on public schools as a common good. The articles are part of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Learning for Justice initiative.

Brewer argues that education is not just about an individual’s effort for a career or economic gain, but also a collective effort for community and national progress. Read more about it here.
